Born: 10.08.1984 On the band since: 2002-2007 / 2010 Releases: “Black Metal Commando”, “Unmercyful Personalized Bestiality”. Previous and other bands: Viking Throne, Horned God and Repugnant Gore. Appears also on: “From the Weak Daylight to the Almighty”, “Strandhugg the Heart of the Frozen Throne”, both from Viking Throne. As a professional musician, Vinnie Tyr worked with some metal bands, played rock and regional Brazilian music on clubs in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. Guitar teacher in his native city, Duque de Caxias (on the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro), he is an enthusiast of good music, of any style. Creator of excellent riffs, licks, and solos, he is the key for a major revolution in Unearthly’s music, which will be heard on the upcoming album, “Flagellum Dei”. A brazilian musician that lead the guitar in the Black/Death Metal band Unearthly and act playing another kind of rithms too in the night, especially brazilian rithms. Is being one of the leading musicians who experiences the mix between metal music and tribal/ african/ brazilian sounds. Vinnie S. Tyr was born on 10 August 1984 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Vinnie's father is musician who initiallied the son in the music career when he was 12 years old. The guitarrist joined some conservatories of music, where learned percussion and easily learned play guitar, at same time he started his carrer playing with his father in music clubs. In the age of 15 years old, he started play guitar in local metal bands. In 2002 joined the Unearthly recording two Albuns. Five years later Vinnie moved to another city, São Paulo, and had to left Unearthly, but there he played with others bands (Horned God, Endless War) and gave guitar classes.After 2 years he returned to his city and back to Unearthly that turned his official band until today. Nowadays Vinnie still gives guitar classes and plays in music clubs with Unearthly and like standalone musician too.
