Never the Saint

Having recently worked with producer Matt Hyde (Bullet For My Valentine, Funeral For A Friend, Slipknot etc) for their initial single, the newly formed London four piece Never The Saint are already committed to pushing Alt-Guitar Rock into an ambitious and subtly sophisticated area. Led by their fearless and striking Russian songstress Mila, whose depth of voice and complexity of piano playing owes an equal debt to both Classical and Contemporary, and partnered by the complex textures of Mark Verney’s guitars, they are not your ‘run of the mill’ indie band. The resulting songs are poignant, thought-provoking and laden with melodic hooks, overlaying an achingly beautiful soundscape, which takes its inspiration from such disparate elements as Nine Inch Nails and PJ Harvey, whilst tipping a nod to the best moments of Pink Floyd and Kate Bush. Never The Saint are currently compiling material for their forthcoming album and tour schedule later this year.
