The Original Language of Continental Europe Revived

Неогалльский язык (Galatac) The Modern Gaulish language was constructed from Old Gaulish using changes in sounds and grammar the first stages of which can mostly be discerned in the last attested stage of the language. It uses every scrap of available attested material at hand to date, and the whole process is meticulously documented. Modern Gaulish is an interesting linguistic experiment: a hypothetical construction of what Gallic / Gaulish could have evolved into if it had not ceased to be spoken. The German name for the language is Neugallisch, while the ancient dialects of Gaul are called Altgallisch (Old Gaulish). Néogaulois would be the French equivalent for Galatac, New Gallic or Modern Gaulish. Welcome to all wherever you may be !
