MOSH GUERRILLA

MOSH GUERRILLA is a Moldovan experimental rock group from Chisinau that formed in autumn 2007. Originally it was a metal cover-band with Octav Casian on vocals, Victor Velk on guitar, Alex Petriuc on bass, and Constantin Dimitrenco on drums. In the end of 2009 the drummer was replaced by Garry Tverdohleb from Moldovan ethno-jazz legend Trigon, but shortly afterwards MOSH GUERRILLA has gone on a four years hiatus. During that period Octav Casian has subsequently joined Inaera (Gomel, BY), Total Harmonic Distortion (Kiev, UA), and Tons Of Powder (Chisinau, MD), while Alex Petriuc went on with Neuromist (Chisinau, MD), Victor Velk and Garry Tverdohleb have concentrated on Mandragora Root – a fusion rock band which conceived the instrumental basis for the renewed MOSH GUERRILLA’s comeback in October 2014. Ever since, the band's line-up consists of vocalist Octav Casian, guitarist Victor Velk, bassist Tony Ho, and drummer Garry Tverdohleb. All of the band members were friends since the 90s, when they shared the local thrash/death metal scene within such bands as Accident, Axident, and Utopia. At present, being focused on blending stoner metal with progressive influences, the MOSH GUERRILLA partakers work on to complete the authentic debut album. The recording is anticipated to be released until the end of 2015.
