Hi! My name is Adam. I'm a qualified native speaking English language teacher (I'm English and I hold a Cambridge CELTA, Grade A). I’ve had many different jobs in my life, but teaching English was the first that I really loved. When I first started teaching, 8 years ago in Japan, I soon realized that this was the best job I had ever had and couldn’t think of one which I wanted to do more. Over the last six years, I've had the opportunity to teach on a variety of different exam courses, such as FCE, CAE, TOEFL and of course IELTS. Within those courses there has always been a strong focus on academic writing and speaking. During this time, I have often been asked to work with students on a variety of differently themed course papers from such specialist topics as psychology to architecture to contemporary art.” This page has been designed for those who are interested in improving their IELTS writing and speaking scores in particular. Online study with me includes: Skype meetings For feedback on writing assignments and to give lessons. A wide variety of IELTS resources to be completed over the duration of 'the course' at the pace of the student. These include (but are not limited to): Introductions to the various stages of the IELTS exam, Video Presentations, Grammar support, Vocabulary quizzes, Listening / Reading and Writing tasks, and Guides on how to structure and improve your writing and speaking. The great thing about having your own private IELTS tutor is that the course is personalized based on your needs.
