Being the granddaughter of The Teacher, Dominique grew up alongside her older sister, Veronica de Sade, her elder brother, Louis de Sade, and an orphaned Noé Archiviste, following The Teacher's purchasing of him off the black market. Dominique has since reunited with Noé in order to attend a Bal Masque held by Marquis Machina in order to track down Lord Ruthven in order to question him about his research involving Curse-Bearers.
