Caín Volkov. Caín was born in Mexico City in January 7th of 1987 and began his history in the Mexican music business back in 2005 as an Indie Singer/Songwriter (previously called Abimael Yaoi) using spanish, english and russian languages; creating a complete atmosphere where fairies showed his bleak reality turning his music into Sweet Cruelty called: Pop-Dark… While he used the name Abimael Yaoi he was part of the openly gay pop group “Proyecto G”, which was the official image for the anti-HVI LGBTTTI Mexican teenager’s campaign called “Cuídate. Cuídame” (Take care of yourself. Take care of me) by the “CAIPAJ” foundation directed by Josué Quino. There were different post-cards of the campaign, each edition with a pic of every integrant of the group. Press conferences and interviews were part of the promotion of this campaign as they were part of the group. His first show with the boy band was as openers of the concert of the Mexican pop girl band “Jeans” at Cabaretito VIP discotheque. After splitting from the boy band he was part of the Indie Electro-Pop group XEM, but he has to leave the group due to school. During this time-lapse he also recorded some demos of his compositions, and the song “Como Él A Mí” written by the songwriter and singer Aldo Obregón, who collaborated in the recording of two Caín’s songs. Caín started his Music Production carrer in 2011 at G Martell which is the most important Contemporary Music School of Mexico and Latin America. In July 23rd of 2012 his EP “Sídnrome de Estocolmo” (Stockholm Syndrome) came out well sold at iTunes, eMusic, Amazon, OVI Store, Google Play and other online-stores. The EP’s promo began at the online video-streamed program iWey at www.Radioaktivo.com Now he's back with "Síndrome de Estocolmo" THE ALBUM! He's ready to start writing his own fairytale transforming sweet things into bleak ones and viceversa... Tired of world's double morality, Caín's decided to defy soul's gravity and rise the spirits up to an exotic, chaotic and lovely reality…
