The Austrian group Allerseelen have been active and innovative in the post-industrial and apocalyptic folk genre for many years. Their CDs and double-LP editions have been issued on the Austrian labels Aorta and Ahnstern and on the Russian labels Ewers Tonkunst and :retortae:. Allerseelen is a unique combination of industrial and folklore elements, and "Electronic Folklore" might be an appropriate expression to embrace these seemingly contradictory qualities.
