Francisco Alejandro López (born on December 12, 1992), better known by his stage name, Jc "El Artezzano" is a Salvadoran singer-songwriter, rapper and actor. Born in San Juan Opico, and moved to the United States in 2006, interested in becoming a reggaeton artist, a contemporary genre of urban music in Latin America. Jc "El Artezzano" was born in San Juan Opico, is the second of three children born to Salvadoran mother, Sonia Irma, and a Salvadoran father, Cesar López. His father always insist him to sports activities like soccer, "at some time I dreamed of being a footballer" words of the artist. He grew up listening to different types of music and has been a fan of rap music, especially Vico-C, a Puerto Rican rapper/reggaeton and pioneer of the urban genre. Jc "El Artezzano" was not always a fan of reggaeton;. states that is not his favorite type of music, but it's easy to sing. During the 2000's, Jc "El Artezzano" became a fan of the new type of music. Listening to artists such as Tego Calderon and Vico-C, which inspired him to pursue a career singing and rapping in El Salvador. After moving to U.S. in 2006, Jc "El Artezzano" has decided to follow in the education of reggaeton music. Then he joined a group of reggaeton, "Fusion". The group signed with the label "Eypi Records". The group during the time they were recording with Eypi Records were working on their debut album. Fusion never rose to fame, but always kept working on their album. Jc "El Artezzano" found "Double Jay Entertainment" in 2009 and became his own manager. He said it was easier to be his own manager because he wont have to pay 20 percent of the money received from album sales to his manager. In late 2009 Jc "El Artezzano" met Javiel "El Poeta" through the famous video social network YouTube. The artists agree to work together, and as well in 2010, the new duo is officially found. "Javiel & Jc." The duo is working on his debut album, "Mi Primera Vez" which is estimated to be release in mid 2012. The album will feature songs produced in the last quarter of 2011 and the first quarter of 2012, including the producer Jl Beat, producer of the song "Tu Recuerdo". Half of the album are tracks that were originally produced for an album that was supposed to be released in the last quarter of 2011. The other half of the album also includes tracks of new production, including the song "Tu Recuerdo," which became a hit in the airplay of urban radio stations in Latin America, United States, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Central America and South America. End of 2011 "Mario Menjivar" manager of "La Comision PR" set in contact with Javiel and Jc and the duo it accepts the negotiation and they became part of "La Comision PR." Double Jay Entertainment, which is the duo's original label still is. La Comision PR is responsible for promoting the duo.
